Convenience stores like Wawa are just that — convenient. You likely visit your local Wawa at least once per day, if not every day. It makes sense to utilize the Wawa Rewards program to get the most out of your purchases — so how does the Wawa Rewards program work?
Wawa Rewards members earn rewards for $50 spent on eligible purchases at Wawa stores. You must have a registered account and scan the card at checkout. Once you reach the $50 threshold, you can redeem one of three rewards. Members also receive bonuses and benefits, like access to mobile ordering.

Signing Up for Wawa Rewards
Wawa Rewards allows members to earn rewards by making eligible purchases at participating Wawa locations. There is no fee to sign up.
To start earning rewards, you must have:
- a Wawa Rewards account
- a registered Wawa Rewards card
The Wawa Rewards account is where you receive and redeem all coupons, bonuses, and earned rewards.
There are two ways to sign up for Wawa Rewards, including via the website or within the mobile app. Here’s how:
How To Sign Up for Wawa Rewards via Website
- Visit your local Wawa station and grab a Wawa Rewards card (available at all participating Wawa locations).
- Go to WawaRewards.com on your web browser.
- Select “Sign Up Now” to begin the signup process.
- Enter your rewards card information and follow the instructions to complete signup. You’ll also receive a digital card within the app.
How To Sign Up for Wawa Rewards via Mobile App
- Obtain a physical card from participating Wawa stores (available at all participating Wawa locations), or sign up via mobile and receive a digital card.
- Open the Apple App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for the Wawa app.
- Download the app and open it.
- Navigate to “Register Now” within the app menu.
- Enter your card information (if you have a physical card) and follow the instructions to complete signup.
If you sign up without a physical card, you’ll have the option to update your digital card number later if you obtain a physical card.
There is no difference between the physical Wawa Rewards card and the Wawa Rewards card within the mobile app. As long as you sign up with your card, the numbers and information remain the same, and both cards work the same.
Earning Wawa Rewards
Signing up with Wawa Rewards is easy — but what about earning rewards?
Redeeming rewards is just as simple. After registering, you can immediately begin using the Wawa Rewards card to earn towards your $50 threshold. Make sure that you use the card registered to your account every time you checkout to avoid losing out on fast rewards! You don’t get credit for purchases unless you scan the card.
In addition to rewards for every $50 spent, Wawa Rewards members have the choice of opting in to certain Wawa Sweepstakes. Not only that, but Wawa Rewards members get exclusive access to mobile ordering and in-store pickup, bonus rewards, and other membership benefits.
In the app or on the Wawa Rewards website, you’ll have access to a Wawa Rewards Dashboard where you can view how much you need to spend to earn rewards, any current rewards, Wawa gift cards registered to you, and all past purchases (using your Wawa Rewards card).

Redeeming Wawa Rewards
As mentioned in the previous section, once you’ve spent at least $50 on qualifying purchases from participating Wawa stores using the card registered to your account, you’ll receive three redemption options within the mobile app or the Wawa Rewards website (after signing in).
You can choose the reward, and you’ll receive it in the form of a Wawa Rewards Coupon. You can redeem this coupon at any participating Wawa location.
First-time signups will also receive a coupon for a complimentary beverage (16-ounce or 453g Wawa Iced Tea or Fruit Drink). To redeem this free drink, you must first register your account within the Wawa app or the website.
Then, after making your first purchase and scanning the registered Wawa Rewards card, you’ll receive a free beverage coupon in your account (within 24 hours). You can print the coupon or scan it from within the Wawa Rewards app. After printing the coupon, it’s removed from the mobile app, so be sure not to lose it!
When redeeming rewards, members can combine Wawa Rewards Coupons with manufacturer coupons for an additional discount, but you cannot use two Wawa Rewards Coupons on a single product.
Do Wawa Rewards Expire?
Wawa Rewards expire, so use them in a timely manner. Expiration dates vary, but the dates are noted in your Wawa Rewards account. You must claim all rewards before they expire. Additionally, any redeemed Wawa Rewards coupons received expire at 11:59 p.m. on the printed expiration date.
If you fail to redeem the rewards before the expiration date, you lose them.

Eligible Items
Most items from participating Wawa locations count towards the Wawa Rewards Program. However, there are several items that are not included. These excluded items include:
- Fuel
- Sour Cream
- Eggnog
- Fluid Milk & Cream
- Tobacco
- Alcohol
- Coupon Redemptions
- Delivery Tips/Fees
- Catering Purchases
- Gift Cards/Prepaid Cards
- Online Purchases of Wawa Merchandise (i.e., clothing, cups, etc.)
